Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

This policy covers the website at potatodog.app. It explains what information the site handles when you visit or email us, who else receives it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Our apps have their own privacy policies, which describe what each app does with your data:

What we collect

This site has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics, ads or tracking pixels. We handle two kinds of information:

Who receives it

ServiceWhyWhat it receives
Google Firebase HostingHosts and delivers this siteRequest data. See Firebase privacy.
Google FontsSupplies the typefaces on this siteRequest data. See Google Fonts privacy.
Our email providerReceives and stores email sent to usYour email and its contents

These providers may keep standard request logs under their own policies. We do not use request data to identify you, build a profile of you, or follow you across other websites.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We disclose information to anyone else only when the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order.

How we use it

How long we keep it

We keep email for as long as we need it to respond to you and keep ordinary business records, and we delete it sooner if you ask. Request data is kept by the providers above under their own retention rules.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email contact@potatodog.app with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm you control the email address involved. We respond within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.

California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines those terms, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We do not track visitors across websites, so the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends these signals. If we ever add a feature that sells or shares personal information, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has emailed us, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
